What hand held device can be used to simply catalog goods?

im desperately searching for a hand held organizer, used to simply catalog goods in a grocery store. eg: departments - aisle - brands - item, with the ability to display a picture of each good.

Id prefer it not to be a phone and for this to be its only function, what would be the best device to use?

why do you need a picture of each item? most hand held computers for use in this sort of job just have a barcode scanner, and text display. The data may either be stored and later downloaded to a PC, or you can have real-time RF link to your stock computer.

In order to log location and aisle, you will need a barcode marker for every one of those as well. Label printers that will print barcodes are plentiful - search for BARCODE PRINTER on Ebay - HTH
